NC2SD Meets SUS

If you look at the route map, it becomes apparent that certain routes criss-cross but not all these routes overlap on the same dates.  

Fortunately for us, our route has the pleasure of meeting up with NC2SD on two separate occasions.  

We arrived here in Durango CO after an exhausting and absolutely breathtaking 111 mile climb through the Rockies to find that we were sharing our host location with the other team.  

NC2SD had a day off in Durango on the 4th of July and today, they will be hitting the road while we will have a build day here in this cool city.  Tomorrow, we will get back on the road and on July 7th, will be seeing the team again in Kayenta AZ. 

It was amazing to have a day off here in Durango because the town has a great Independence Day ritual.  First, there was a parade and then we got to enjoy some fireworks from a hill.  

We are having a great time exploring this part of the country and finding ourselves in awe of the landscapes.
