First Circle Of Hell?

Our SUS14 team has been very lucky with regards to the temperature.  In past years, SUS has dealt with dozens of 100+ degree days by this point in the trip but yesterday's 95 miler to Overton was only our second encounter with triple digit temperatures.

That being said, we made our introduction with a bang.  Air temperatures maxed out at 107 and the temperature by the pavement reached a whopping 119 degrees.

Temperatures of this capacity are likely to continue as we make our way across southern Nevada and into California's Death Valley.

Still, I count us blessed because the heat has held off.  Hopefully there are 12 more ride days of relatively mild temperatures.  It's hard to believe that there are only 12 ride days left and only 16 days total.
