Our team went to a Hare Krishna temple for a delicious meal and a meaningful service close to downtown.
Afterwords we explored and found an outdoor craft market bustling with lots of interesting people and unique items for sale.
Now we have a day off in this vivid and colorful city. We are going on a social justice tour of the 9th ward, headed to a bike shop, headed to a gym and then making our way to downtown to see Tulane, see some of the historic homes along the cresent part of the Mississippi River, visit the parks and walk along the shopping district. One day isn't enough but hopefully as the week progresses, we are able to enjoy this amazing city after the completion of our build days.
