Happy Happy Birthday! Happy Happy Day 3!

Yesterday's build day was wonderful.  I worked on my hammering, measuring and power tool skills (I love the power tools).  Some of my teammates worked indoors on the finishing touches of one home and the other group put their roofing and painting skills to work.  Our team worked on three different homes in total and our progress was inspiring.  Of coursed, we were all super stoked for lunch time. 

After our work day finished at 4, we headed back to the Habitat community center to clean up, relax and recover before dinner.  

Meet one of Bike & Build's two fearless leaders, Natalie! 

Natalie works full time at the Philadelphia office but heads to the starting locations of 4 of the 8 routes.  She will be riding with us for the first 3 or so days of our trek and will meet us on the west coast 3 or so days before we reach Monterrey.  

Now the team is getting ready to rock and roll on our first ride around Atlantic Beach.  We will ride 20 miles to work on our safety knowledge, feel comfortable on the bikes and get to know our teammates.
