Last night 3 fellow riders from the Detroit area came through Charlotte and crashed at our house.
It was wonderful meeting some of by B&B teammates and made me even more excited for today's departure but delayed my already procrastinated packing even more. I was awake until the wee hours of the morning packing in my backpacking backpack and needless to say, today's drive down to Jacksonville will be my naptime.
I'm thrilled to get this adventure on the road, literally. But it's bittersweet to be leaving behind my home and family.
